After joining the Alliance for Universal Suffrage, SynergyNet actively participated in the drafting of a proposal on constitutional reform. ISynergyNet, Centre For Comparative And Public Law, HKU, Civic Exchange and Hong Kong Policy Research Institute co-organized the “60 and Beyond: China’s Modernisation and the Roles of Hong Kong Conference” on 21 Nov 2009 at the Rayson Huang Theatre, HKU. 「新力量網絡」於去年11月首度舉辦「通識及公共事務課程」，以推動將學術知識普及到社會各界。首屆課程反應熱烈，共有超過48人報讀，並已於今年2月20日完滿結束。

新力量網絡計劃於今年夏天 / 秋天再度舉辦課程，並會設計全新的課程內容及加入更多的星級學者擔任講師。有興趣者請密切留意新力量網絡的公布。

In order to popularize knowledge to different sectors of the society, SynergyNet and the Community College of City University co-launched the General Education and Public Affairs Programme for the first time in November 2009. Response to the programme was overwhelming and over 48 people made their applications. The first season of the programme was successfully completed on 20 February 2010.

SynergyNet plans to organize the General Education and Public Affairs Programme again in summer / autumn, a complete new course curriculum will designed and more star professors will be invited as lecturers. Details of the programme will be announced very soon.
